Jennifer Adger
Adger is an award winning artist whose work can be found in private collections in Alabama, California, the District of Columbia, Massachusetts, New York, and Virginia. Her graduate work at American University in criminology and neuropsychology has greatly influenced her paintings, which are reflections on consciousness and memory. Liz Calka
Calka is an award-winning photographer and undergraduate student at American University majoring in Visual Media and minoring in Graphic Design. She is the Artistic Director of BleakHouse Publishing. Calka created and maintains the BleakHouse website. She has also designed the covers for Origami Heart and A Zoo Near You, BleakHouse Publishing books, and the cover for the Spring 2009 issue of Tacenda Literary Magazine.

Eleanor Potter
Potter received a BA in Fine Arts at the University of Wales in Aberystwyth. Eleanor completed her art foundation course at the Wimbledon School of Art in London, U.K. She has had her work displayed at the Goethe Institute in Washington D.C. as well as at exhibits in the London area. Her artwork is featured prominently in Poetic Justice: Reflections on the Big House, The Death House, The American Way of Justice, and in several issues of Tacenda Literary Magazine.

Sara Rubenson
Rubenson is studying art at the University of Massachusetts in Boston. She enjoys working with all kinds of mediums but mostly works with oil and acrylic paints.

Sonia Tabriz
Tabriz is an award-winning honors student at American University majoring in Law & Society and Psychology. She is a published author of fiction and commentary as well as an artist. Tabriz serves as Editor-In-Chief of Tacenda Literary Magazine as well as Managing Editor of BleakHouse Publishing. She has also designed the text for both Origami Heart and A Zoo Near You.

Gwendolyn Waters
Waters is a law student at the Catholic University of American, Columbus School of Law. After she graduates she plans to begin a career as a criminal defense attorney.
